Our process
Every garment begins with a clear concept. In this initial stage, we discuss your project in detail your vision, target market, design direction, price point, and production goals. The more information you can provide, the better. Fabric details, reference garment images, sketches, mood boards, or tech packs help us accurately assess construction, fit, and feasibility from the outset, ensuring a smooth transition into development.

Your design is translated into a precise digital pattern, developed specifically for your sample size and initial sample garment. At this stage, we also create a 3D render so you can visualise the design, proportion, and construction before production. Working digitally allows us to refine details and make accurate adjustments efficiently, incorporating your feedback throughout the process before moving into sampling.

At this stage, we sew your initial toile to bring the pattern into physical form, constructing the garment with all seam finishes so fit and structure can be properly assessed. Knit toiles are typically developed in jersey, while woven styles are made in calico unless an alternative fabric is requested. This sample allows us to evaluate proportion, fit, and construction details before proceeding to final production.

Once you’re happy with the sample, we can move into grading to scale your pattern across your full size range. From there, we can discuss local or offshore manufacturing options, or alternatively, we can prepare a comprehensive tech pack for you to send directly to your chosen suppliers.
